Your request

We clarify the task, the people involved and the desired outcome.

From intent to delivery

Help organise online store documentation around its operations and data processing workflows.

Base documents on store operations

Preparation starts with how your store works: who buys, where you deliver, how payments are collected and which information is processed. A generic template cannot account for those differences. Scope is agreed around the processes and documents you want prepared or reviewed.

Review what the buyer sees

We assess agreed information and document placement, including purchase conditions, privacy and cookie information and their connection to forms and orders. Missing facts are gathered with your team. Documents should not contain another company’s details or describe functions your store does not use.

Work that can be included

We carry out legal monitoring of the e-shop.

We prepare legal documentation:

privacy policy,

cookie policy,

e-shop purchase and sale rules.

Separate writing from implementation

Preparing a document and placing it in a working store can be separate tasks. We establish who supplies business information, reviews the text and implements website changes. This defines the result and the responsibilities retained by your team or other specialists.

When to review existing documents

Changes to selling, delivery or tools can justify a document review. Include the store address and an outline of planned changes in your inquiry.

Frequently asked questions about legal documents for e-commerce

Which documents does an online store need in Lithuania and the EU?

At minimum purchase and sale rules (terms), a privacy policy and a cookie policy, plus clear information about the seller, delivery, returns and the right of withdrawal. The documents must match the store's actual processes rather than be copied from another website.

Are template documents from the internet good enough?

Templates often do not match a specific store: payment methods, delivery terms, tools used and data processing. We review your processes and adapt the documents to them so they protect the business instead of merely existing.

What is legal monitoring of an online store?

A regular review of whether the store's documents and the information shown to buyers match changed legislation and changes in the store itself: new payment methods, markets, newsletter tools or cookie solutions.

Do you also handle the cookie consent banner?

In the legal part we describe which cookies are used and what consent is required. The technical implementation (consent banner, blocking scripts until consent) is done separately or together with your developers – these scopes are separated in the agreement.

When should existing documents be reviewed?

After starting to sell in new countries, changing payment or delivery methods, adding new analytics or marketing tools, receiving buyer complaints, or if the documents have not been reviewed for more than a year.
